Synopsis

Between 1880 and 1924, 2.5 million Jews fled persecution in Russia and Eastern Europe, kissed the shtetl goodbye and migrated to America. A french writer and film director, Fabienne Rousso-Lenoir is also an international lawyer specializing in Human Rights. She graduated from the International Institute of Human Rights- Rene Cassin, Strasbourg, France.

As a lawyer, she has most specifically worked on crimes against humanity.

As a film director she focuses on the connection between History and individual memories.
