Synopsis

"Four years ago a peacock suddenly landed and has settled ever since in the grounds of a Leeds synagogue. Whimsical and charming, the film explores the responses of a diverse section of that Yorkshire community."

Director

Max Goldberg is an award-winning UK writer and director. He has won the UK Jewish Film Short Fund twice and is currently working on his second competition winning film to premiere this year, in November at the BAFTA qualifying UK Jewish Film Festival. With a passion for honouring the traditions of cinema, Max's work embodies a unique blend of classic and contemporary elements. He is currently developing his next project, a short narrative film that promises to showcase his creativity and storytelling prowess.
