Synopsis

"Through Thick and Thin" follows the extraordinary stories of seven binational gay and lesbian couples whose lives are dramatically affected by the current immigration laws. For some partners, it means immigrating to a different country, while others try to maintain a semblance of normalcy by commuting between distant places overseas. Filmmaker Sebastian Cordoba intimately captures integral moments of each of the couples as they struggle to stay together at whatever cost, unfortunately demonstrating that love does not conquer all.
